Abstract

Con relación al artículo de Hidalgo y col  publicado en la Revista Médica Herediana, volumen 22, número 2, 2011 donde se describen la frecuencia de infecciones hospitalarias en un hospital nivel IV, quisiéramos agregar que dado que es un tema relevante es necesario recalcar su importancia como indicador de calidad de atención en los diferentes hospitales y también diferentes niveles de atención.
