Abstract

Histoplasmosis diseminada es una condición poco frecuente, presentándose en menos del 10% de los casos sintomáticos por esta enfermedad. Se reconoce a niños, ancianos inmunosuprimidos por depresión de la inmunidad celular, recipientes de transplante renal o de médula ósea y a pacientes en tratamiento esteroideo prolongado,
como individuos en riesgo.
