Abstract

Los docentes universitarios en general y el docente de medicina en particular no han sido objeto de un estudio integral que revele su realidad para poder comprender su actividad docente, sus necesidades, su modus vivendi, sus anhelos y aspiraciones, así
como sus frustraciones; por está razón, el docente de medicina no es conocido a cabalidad; sin embargo, su labor de formador de profesionales médicos es de trascendental importancia, por la que debe recibir atención preferencial y prioritaria.
