Corrección del pectus excavatum por vía extrapleural sin toracoscopio, en un paciente con cirugías torácicas previas

Abstract

Se presenta un caso de un niño de 6 años de edad, con diagnóstico de pectus excavatum a quien le habían realizado tres intervenciones quirúrgicas en el hemitórax izquierdo, se realizó la corrección del pectus excavatum, empleando la técnica de Nuss modificada por vía extrapleural sin el empleo de toracoscopio. El paciente no presentó complicaciones en el intraoperatorio ni en el post operatorio. A los seis meses de seguimiento, la evolución clínica, anatómica y funcional fue favorable.
