Distopias testiculares. Propuesta de una clasificación.

Las distopias testiculares son clasificadas en estadíos según la localización del testículo. Estadío 0: normal; Estadío I: escrotal inestable; Estadío II: traccionable al 1/3 superior del escroto; Estadío III: traccionable a región inguinal baja; Estadío IV: inguinal alto; Estadío V: no habido; Estadío VI: ectópico. Desde 1987, en 109 pacientes con distopias testiculares, se estudiaron 146 gónadas de las cuales 72 fueron unilaterales y 74 bilaterales (37 pacientes). El 29% (43 gónadas) correspondieron al estadío II; 27% (39 gónadas) al estadió III; 23% (33 gónadas) al estadío I; 14% (21 gónadas) estadío IV; y 7% (10 gónadas) al estadío V. Más del 50% de las gónadas pertenecieron a los estadíos I y II.Downloads
