Abstract

La creación de Facultades de Medicina en el Perú, constituye en la actualidad una problemática de la Educación Médica que amerita un estudio exhaustivo a fin de llegar a conclusiones valederas que permitan plantear soluciones adecuadas.

Recientemente me correspondió el privilegio de actuar como coordinador del Grupo de Trabajo constituído para analizar este tema en el Comité de Educación Médica de la Academia Nacional de Medicina. Atendiendo a la gentil invitación de quienes dirigen esta revista, me es grato compartir en las siguientes líneas algo de lo mucho que allí aprendí.
