Hidrotórax como complicación de diálisis peritoneal. A propósito de un caso.

Abstract

Se presenta el caso de una niña con insuficiencia renal crónica en programa de diálisis peritoneal crónica ambulatoria, quien presentó hidrotórax agudo en el lado derecho, una complicación poco frecuente. Se realizó pleurodesis con tetraciclina por videotoracoscopía, reiniciando diálisis peritoneal luego de seis semanas. En sus controles al tercer y sexto mes no se evidenció recidiva del hidrotórax. Se discuten la frecuencia de presentación, métodos de diagnós- tico y terapéuticos.
