About the Journal
MISSION
Revista Estomatológica Herediana (REH) is presented as a means of disseminating the results of scientific research conducted by the academic community, offering a source of scientifically sound information for future research projects, and updating of knowledge. REH’s importance lies in its progressive positioning throughout its 33 years of existence, which has resulted in a wide recognition and prestige in the academic field. Its mission is to provide a space where scientific findings find a significant echo, thus inspiring the generation of new knowledge and advancement in clinical practice and dental research.
FOCUS AND SCOPE
REH focuses on disseminating research studies that contribute to the expansion of knowledge in the area of stomatology, and dental public health, and that, in turn, generate academic debate in the scientific community. REH is an open access journal sponsored by the Faculty of Stomatology from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. It is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, professors, and researchers in the field of odontostomatology. It is a quarterly publication, and its manuscripts are peer-reviewed under the modality of double-blind arbitration.
HISTORICAL DATA OF THE JOURNAL
REH published its first issue in 1991 in printed format, before being made available exclusively online. Throughout its existence, the following people have been in charge of the journal:
