Abstract

Para decidir la instalación de un tratamiento anticonvulsivante a largo plazo es necesario y esencial establecer el diagnóstico de epilepsia; esto no significa que no podamos usar este tipo de medicamentos en otras patologías pero como veremos en el desarrollo del artículo, el uso está normado de acuerdo a las entidades planteadas.
